Re: PROJECT TAITO II: The First Generation - finished!
Better late than never! I figured I might as well start a new thread for such an announcement -
PROJECT TAITO II finally rolls itself to a close, with the final four models completed at long last!
MOON SHUTTLE, COLONY 7, ZARZON, and POLARIS. All new, never modeled before. All control panel ...

Re: Where's everybody been??!
Hah, I had All American for dinner just last night, drove down from Huntington.
I have searched the internet for photos of Galaxy but apparently it was nowhere near as well photographed as Time Out. Just one pic popped up in a Newsday article about L.I. malls a year or so ago, I'm posting it ...

Re: Where's everybody been??!
Yup, grew up in Massapequa Park, went to MHS class of 1984, lived around the block from Fossil and we spent most weekends at the Sunrise Mall's Time Out and Galaxy. Fos and I would hang around Time Out until the mall started closing up, then head down to Orange Julius and snag some free pretzels ...

Re: Where's everybody been??!
I must admit that I've never actually used 3dArk for a frontend, I just use each emulator's GUI for that 3dArk is for when I want to remember what it was like being 14 years old and spending Friday and Saturday nights in the arcades, specifically Fossil's Time Out, the actual arcade in the Sunrise ...

Re: Where's everybody been??!
A new face, and and old one, that's awesome! Fossil and I were starting to believe (or years into believing, actually) that we were the last of the 3dArcade users. Would be great if there was a new burst of activity here. I'll do my part; five new models already available, and I'll put up a new ...

Re: Where's everybody been??!
So the 3dArcade forum is back! What's it been, four years? Who's still around? Well, Jibmums is still around, and he might actually have a few models to post that were nearly finished when the forum disappeared. I'll post in my buried-but-soon-to-be-exhumed threads in the WIP section when I have ...

Re: Mame now playable on the models, please test this build
Good stuff Peter. Thanks for the reply. I didn't think fullscreen was abandoned, but just making sure :)
Any plans for a current preview video(s) coming? I could also link to some of the VP cab community (most are also arcade cab builders). I could stir-up interest whenever you'd like to get some ...

Re: Mame now playable on the models, please test this build
Hey guys.. been popping-in and checking on the progress from time-to-time as I am in the thick of my Virtual Pinball cabinet build. It's great seeing some of the long-time members coming back, even just for a quick "hello".

3DA in Unity and VR
Great to see the Unity project progressing. I just returned home from year a in Dubai and will soon be building a Pinball cab. Interestingly, there is a good portion of the Pincab building community that is migrating over to VPVR and they are a bit passionate about it. Some say they would never go ...

If you want to get a better idea of how Ventuz is used, here's a link to the company I am working at that uses Ventuz, 3Monkeys. Just launched new website, has videos of many of the cool interactive projects we worked on.

Re: 3DArcade for Unity Preview
Be aware it really is a preview. The code needs a lot of cleaning up even for my low standards. Also the model format has changed slightly...see the export to max thread.
Since the preview I redid the code for loading models. I added support for filtering default models. I also added support for ...

Re: 3DArcade for Unity Preview
Do you have experience with Unity? I am new to Unity and c#, so suggestions how to make it better are very welcome.
I am Unity-Certified, but that was a few years ago, but I do not use it professionally. I went Unity-crazy a little while back as a parallel learning path for the software that I ...
