Re: Where's everybody been??!

Good to see you, Wig! Hopefully you'll somehow get 3dArk running again someday. Fossil bought himself an old laptop to do just that.

I just might do something similar one of these days. I would hate to think I've walked through Deniro's Dungeon or any of Fossil's arcades for the last time. I ...

Re: Where's everybody been??!

Sadly, I don't have 3DA running at all on my latest PC. I tried, encountered problems, and really didn't haven't the will to go digging around rooting out the problem. But 3DA and the community back then, small as it was, meant a lot to me and so I still pop into this forum and the two new discords ...

Re: 3DArcadeSettingsEditor.exe not working properly in 3D Arcade on Windows 10

Yeah, these days I'm only running in VMWare (with crappy graphics and poor mouse control) just in order to even see arcades any more. Running an emulation of an obsolete physical space within an emulation of an obsolete virtual space. Wow, even my nostalgia is outdated!

Lucky you...I've only ...

Got an email saying we're back up and running, thought I'd pop in and say hi. "Hi!"

Re: Libretro Sandbox Unity project

Ps Do you still have the 3ds max projects for your arcades? And are you interested in converting them to work with Unity?

I saved everything to DVD-R, but can't seem to find the bloody thing. I'll keep looking, gotta be somewhere. I wouldn't be interested in converting them - no time to donate to ...

Re: Libretro Sandbox Unity project

What happened here? I was enjoying following these recent 3DA developments, and then, it stopped, really, really suddenly. Did you lot all get abducted by the same UFO?

Re: I bought a new cab

Well, speaking as a guy that just added a Firepower pinball to go next to his MAME cabinet (nee Defender), I can only surmise that the following formula be applied when determining the optimal size of a home arcade:

N = D -1

Where N is the optimal number of cabs/pinball tables, and D is the ...

Re: I bought a new cab

Wow, that looks great. Hours of fun right there. Caused me to crank up MAME and play Cosmic Avenger for the first time in years. That's as good as it gets for me, unfortunately. I'm not a collector but I certainly would be if I had more time and floor space. You simply cannot beat the real thing ...

Re: Spaceport Arcade - DONE!

Honestly, it's amazing. The more I look at it and compare it with the training video photos, the more I realise exactly how much work went into it. The comparison photos you posted demonstrate this best - the dimensions of the room, of everything in the room, the colours, the placing of the cabs ...

Re: Spaceport Arcade - DONE!

Congratulations on finally reaching the end. I bet relief isn't the word. And well done, I just had a walk around and it's nothing short of what I would expect from a Fossil production - a beautifully crafted labour of love. The attention to detail is, as usual, obsessive. I just hope )p( gives you ...

Re: Watch this space

With awe, intrigue and wild expectation carved into their pale, swollen faces, with obsession and a touch of hysteria burning in their red-rimmed eyes, the faithful crowd move forward an inch - just an inch, mind you, for nobody wants to risk disturbing the lunatic at work and delaying the project ...

Re: Watch this space

I simply don't believe you anymore. I think you just sit there playing Donkey Kong all day. I will, however, continue to check back here every so often, and in the unlikely event that Space Port does appear, I will gladly apologise, crank up 3DA, install the aforementioned arcade, and...then sit ...
