Creating an FPS arcade from scratch
The subject line says it all. I understand how to edit an existing arcade to have your own cabs (at least in theory - please see my other post detailing my problems creating a gamelist!!) but how do you create your own brand new, empty one, with your own map/layout/environment?
Many thanks all

Creating a gamelist
Hi guys,
If I have a list of games I want in my arcade, how do I create the gamelist for the FPS front end? I know about the list editor and the easiest way I can see of doing it is to add folders to a new list, however I don't know how to transpose my list of game names to a list of folder ...

Apologies for the crosspost!
Apologies if this is really obvious but I can't find anywhere that explains this!
I have downloaded and unpacked the 2000-odd attract mode avi's but I don't know what folder they should be in. Can someone tell me the name of the folder please? I am running MAME v ...

PC spec for 3DArcade FE in an arcade cab - advice please!!
Hi all,
I hope you can help.
I have just bought a Jamma cab off eBay (item number 380014093201 if you're interested). I'm going to rip the guts out and replace them with a PC running 3DArcade driving MAME and Daphne.
The cab comes with a 26" arcade monitor which I hope to salvage. I am ...

I know Rathbone Place very well, I used to write for a magazine called Your Sinclair a long time ago which was based up there. And now I know where the WC sorting office is! (I always just thought that was a big post office!) You're just up the other end of the TCR. Thanks again fella, I'll give you ...

Vital and Spanner - many thanks for your replies.
As I said in my original post the RAR's are in the same folder and *appear* to be the correct sizes. I was thinking that if I had DVD's which were proven to work I would have a basis for diagnosis, ie if it still failed it must be something to do ...
