Hi guys
Sorry for all the questions - I am getting there, honest!! - latest thing is, my arcade monitor is an old Hantarex MTC9000 which cannot display the extreme top and bottoms of the screen, it cuts about half a text line off from each. This makes it very hard to read the captions for the cabs as you walk up to them in FPS mode.
Is there any way of switching off these captions at all please?
Many thanks in advance (again!)
Cheers
Remove cab captions from the top of the screen in FPS?

Wow you don't hang about do you Peter!
Thanks for coming back so quickly. However I have been having trouble finding the right skin file. In my skins folder there are loads of files - see one of my other threads http://echo.messageboard.nl/2243/viewtopic.php?t=3383 - do you know which one is the default for the 3DArcade DVD 2.0 project please?
Thanks again

The name of the default skin you use is found in the fe.cfg file, down near the bottom in section 4, in the "skinset" property. Actually there are 2 of them listed there, which Peter has pointed out could be used for horizontal and vertical default skins. This would generally be the skin you're using, unless it is being overridden by a skin listed in your arcade configuration file(s).
As always, you can find and/or edit properties in the fe.cfg by using the General Configuration section of your Configuration Menu.
