Hi all,
Not been in this forum for a VERY long time! I built a MAME cab back in 2010 running the original 0.96 FE under XP (thank you again to all of you who helped me get that operational!). I was running DeNiro's Damned Dungeon (SUCH an awesome environment!) with heavy customisation for the cabs I wanted. 15 years later and it's finally given up (you can see where this is going...)
So I've built a new PC for the cab running Windows 11 with a Radeon 7670 running EmuDriver for the arcade monitor. So far so good. Next comes layering the old 3DArcade over the top.
My questions are: firstly, is DeNiro's Damned Dungeon compatible with the new Unity build of 3DArcade, and if so, how do I configure it and how can I layer my customised configs over the top? If not, has anyone been able to get the original 0.96 FE3DArcade to run under Windows 11? What compatibility did you need to configure? Currently the only way I can see it working reliably is within a Hyper-V VM running XP, which I'd obviously like to avoid within a cab environment.
Many thanks all!

That would be a question that Fossil might be able to answer for you. I'll poke him with a stick and see if I can get him to chime in here.
Look, a bird!

Yeah, I had 0.96 running pretty well on Windows 10, but then I did some kind of update to my graphics drivers and poof!, it was gone. I ended up having to buy an old Win7 laptop just to get a setup running again. I've also done the VM thing, but it's jerky and not great for gameplay (unless you go the full-cost route with a VM solution that accesses your actual graphics card's capabilities).
I don't have a Windows 11 rig yet, but I suspect you're going to have to go the Unity route if you want something working outside of a VM solution, sorry.

Let me introduce you to my friend Manuel...now open Manuel to page 6.

Thanks Fossil. I copied the entire data set direct from my original cab build onto the Windows 11 build and it "just works"fossil wrote: 04 Oct 2025, 04:18 Yeah, I had 0.96 running pretty well on Windows 10, but then I did some kind of update to my graphics drivers and poof!, it was gone. I have some new cabs I need some help with configuring the FE for but I'll raise a separate post for that.
Thanks again all!
