Mr Arcade packs Corrupted Everyone Please read

I normally don't make announcments but this one is sorta important so I wanted everyone to know about it. I have been getting random reports of visual pinball artwork not showing up in other front ends (mine included) upon further inspection I realized that Mr. Arcade's backglasses are stored in a non-standard png format which confuses, amoung other things photoshop, lazarus, dragon king, and mamewah. I'm sure there are others if even photoshop can't open them.

Luckily irfanview looks like it can, so I'll batch convert the packs next week and send them over to )p( so they can be reposted.


Sorry to clutter an otherwise empty forum, I just thought it deserved the attention.

They are not corrupt...they are all in jpeg format but with a .png extension because the fe expects them to have that extension...

Also there wil be a total new updated set by Greg made available soon wiyh almost all vp tables covered...

Believe it or not, I'm actually aware of the rename thing(sorry I didn't mention it, I didn't want to complicate things)..... Regardless they are still in a wierd format that doesn't read well. Perhaps some sort of wierd interlaced jpg or othe old school mac jpeg, which is sledom supported?

No idea what mr arcade used..but there will be a complete new package soon
